Is the Metaverse just a video game? Is it all just hype?

No matter what your opinion is on this fascinating new technology, there seems to be no stopping the hype engine.

The Metaverse is a topic that seems to really divide opinion. I know some colleagues and students who are 100% in on the idea, while others are really dismissive and see it as a technology that is going to be only used by the gaming community.

No matter what your opinion is, there is a clear opportunity here. There will be a captive audience using this technology, and with that come great possibilities for advertising and creating new experiences that can capture customers.
